Oh great, it’s the middle of the night and I had to pull my fucking bass out and learn this bassline to prove to myself I could play as well as her. (She is a she, right? Not the Tissue Hime guy? Yeah er, I looked it up…) And I don’t even like this dumb K-ON song, haaa.
But I guess it was a good lesson about how much finesse and tone I lose by playing too hard over live drums and blasting gain. I haven’t learned anything challenging in a while (was the last thing I had to practice that cover of Want over a year ago?) and I’m always just straight-arming it to look cool at shows which wrecks my left-hand technique. Maybe I should play more shit like this to stay limber. OR NOT
And no I’m not going to cosplay or film myself, the fact that I’m not asleep yet because I’m sitting at my computer with a P-bass in my lap playing anime songs is bad enough. TT_TT
